BLOG SPAMMERS

Well what can I say?......

Today I had a post that was of absolutely no relevance to my blog.

So....I deleted it.

This person then retaliated and left me over 30 comments. All the same, all very quickly and all very annoying.

I then went to my moderate comments and made the necessary changes to protect my blog from the small mindedness of this person.

Yes, it took me a few minutes to delete them all. (I hope you are happy Mr Spammer)

How sad is that? How sad is this person?

I am sorry that my fellow artists, friends and family must now resort to waiting for my approval before their post will show publicly.

Well, hopefully Mr. Spammer will tire of this idea and eventually I can reopen my comment posts publicly again. (oh and I bet you thought I was going to say who you were.... I wouldn't give you any plug after this good or bad)

To My Friends, Family and fellow Artists:
Please continue to leave your comments on my blog, I will approve them as quickly as I can get to my computer.

Oh and Mr Spammer, it's best if you just go away.

I have a very mean delete finger!

Hi Kim,
I had this happen to me too. Not that many messages sent...so I also had to put the verify thingy up, I hate those. What a shame huh?
I am jumping over to your site..do you have those little butterflys for sale, like the ones on the piece I bought? Well, I shall go look.
be well~

Nope I didn't see them, they are gold little butterflies, and also the frilled gold scrolls, where do you find such beautiful goodies?

Hi Kathy,

I'm not sure which gold scrolls you mean, I think I know the butterflies but I will have to check when I get home from work tonight!

I'll email you then

Ach..spammers!! I was getting hit too -- just small things that said and meant nothing but had links to whatever it was they were selling (or whatever was pornographic..didn't click so I don't know but I can imagine).

I did the same thing -- added the word verification -- I used to have "blog approval" but the word verification seemed to do the trick.

So annoying!!!

I would definetly be VERY afraid of Kim's delete finger. I've had a couple that's had the best of my delete finger. ;-)
