I paid all of $4.00 for it and look forward to repurposing it. Not worth trying to keep it intact, it is very stained, faded in some spots and vintage smelly. I am going to put it all in the wash and hope for the best!

A beautiful vintage dress to be cut up and repurposed
Just thought I would share some pics of this vintage mini dress I picked up recently at the thrift shop. The dress is a light blue taffeta with a chiffon overly. The jacket is full length made with lace and a tulle lining. Ohhh that would be very scratchy to wear. My guess is that it was a bridesmaid or maybe prom dress. It is handmade. Probably fit a size 2. Could be 1960's or 1970s.
